Subdomain Sluts was started because I have multiple subdomains, but no domains. I liked the concept behind the Domain Whores webclique, and I wanted to join, but there's a rule specifying that subdomains do not count. While I understood why, I also felt a bit irritated by the idea that I couldn't be a part of it due to my financial situation. (I don't have a source of income right now, so buying domains is out of the realm of possibility for me, even though I'd love to own domains.) I know I'm not the only one in this situation, so I thought I'd make a clique for others who want to show off their sites, even if they don't own the domains to them.

I chose the name "Subdomain Sluts" because I thought it kept a similar theme as the clique that inspired this one, and I also liked the alliteration. Generally, this clique is self-indulgent and silly, but I hope that others can get enjoyment out of it, too!
